About the event
Rusne performs the role of Gregor Samsa in the German premiere of Gordon Kampe’s opera Die Verwandlung at Staatstheater Augsburg, based on Franz Kafka’s iconic novella. Following its world premiere at Theater Winterthur, the production comes to Augsburg from October 2026, presented with the Augsburger Philharmoniker under the musical direction of Ivan Demidov and directed by André Bücker.
